Fresco Café has been a landmark in Santa Barbara since 1995, originally founded by Mark & Jill Brouillard. In 2010 Fresco Cafe of Santa Barbara celebrated its 15th year anniversary at its Five Points Shopping Center location. Fresco originally began as an Italian Deli and was purchased by Mark & Jill Brouillard in 1995 to create the eclectic café it is today. Now, more than ever, Fresco Café places more emphasis on organic and natural ingredients and has a tremendous local following which makes it one of the most Fresco Valley Cafe Awardspopular restaurants in Santa Barbara. In 2008, the now popular Fresco North was opened up in Goleta, making that the second Fresco location.

In 2009, Aric Christopher and Matt Raab, who have been family friends of the Brouillards for some time, approached them about the possibilities of opening a new and third Fresco location. After diligently searching the Southern California landscape and demographic for a new site, Aric and Matt found the Santa Ynez Valley to be a perfect fit. Not only had SY Valley residents been voicing to Mark and Jill for years that they needed a Fresco to call their own in the valley, but Aric and Matt discovered that the Valley really lacked a healthy alternative for its locals.

Fresco Valley Café opened its doors in September 2010, after an extensive remodel to its buildings location. Within its first 6 months of operation, Fresco Valley Café was awarded “Best new Business” “Best Salad in the Valley” and a “Beautification Award” by the Santa Ynez Valley Journal. Fresco Valley Café specializes in QUALITY and economically priced lunch and dinner entrees to fit any budget. Fresco Valley Café places the same emphasis on organic & natural ingredients, just like it’s original Santa Barbara Café.
